WWE Superstar Samoa Joe is set to challenge Karrion Kross for the NXT Championship at the upcoming TakeOver pay-per-view. During a recent interview, Joe was asked if he would like to face AJ Styles on the Black and Gold brand.
Samoa Joe explained why it might be difficult to bring The Phenomenal One on NXT. However, he insisted that he would love to see that happen and even said that Styles also wants to have a little stint on the brand.

"He’s [AJ Styles] walking around with that big meal ticket he’s got with him right now, I don’t know," said Samoa Joe. "He might not be too keen to get in a real fight these days. You know, I need to find me an Omos, man. He’s got a really good gig going on. I’m a little jealous, to be honest. He’s figured out something great, but you know, absolutely [I would like to wrestle Styles in WWE NXT]."

"I think the never-ending war between me and AJ will always continue," Joe continued. "And he’s always expressed to people that he’d love to do a little stint in WWE NXT, come over and have some fun so, like I said, in this chaotic world, no one knows what the future holds."
Samoa Joe returned on WWE NXT earlier this year as William Regal’s special enforcer. However, constant provocation led to his heated rivalry with Karrion Kross, and both superstars are now set to face each other in the NXT Championship match. Kross has also made multiple appearances on RAW over the last few weeks, where he has been involved in a feud with Jeff Hardy.
