#1 WWE Champion Big E makes a bold statement about Goldberg

Big E recently recalled that WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg used to be his favorite pro wrestler when he was a child. A potential clash between the two would surely be a dream come true for the current WWE Champion.

During an appearance on Hot 97 radio, The New Day member seemed quite open to becoming the superstar who retires Goldberg for good.

“Well, who better to retire him?" Big E continued, "Who better to take him out to pasture, take Old Yeller behind the barn? We'll see. I just feel like I would be the right person to send them on home, give him his walking cane, and say, ‘Thank you for your service.'"

Big E is still engaged in a rivalry with the superstar he defeated to become WWE Champion earlier this month - Bobby Lashley.

Meanwhile, Goldberg unsuccessfully challenged Lashley for the world title at SummerSlam in August.

However, their feud does not seem to have ended yet, as the Hall of Famer clearly expressed that he and the 45-year-old veteran are far from done with each other.
