“It was really an honor for me too, especially not just to be in the same ring with Michael, but to be in the same ring with [special guest referee] Stone Cold Steve Austin. It was a great honor and it was something that I’ll never forget. I’m still hoping to get a rematch or at least another WrestleMania match under my belt before I call it a career in wrestling.”
Lawler's last WWE match occurred during an episode of Monday Night RAW in 2012. In the match, he teamed up with Randy Orton to defeat CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler.
Later that same night, Lawler suffered a heart attack and collapsed at the commentary table.
The WWE Hall of Famer has wrestled sporadically in recent years. However, in 2019, Jerry Lawler revealed on his podcast that he wasn't cleared to wrestle in WWE by the company's doctors.
#10 "It does scare me" — Paige gives an update on her in-ring comeback in WWE
In 2018, two-time WWE Divas Champion Paige was forced to retire from in-ring competition because of a neck injury.
Paige was recently a guest on Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions podcast and she provided a health update ahead of a potential in-ring return. Although Paige won't return to in-ring competition anytime soon, she said her neck feels good at the moment.
The popular star also sent a message on what to expect when she will be mentally ready to make an in-ring return:
“It [neck] feels good and, honestly, it actually scares me as well to maybe come back to wrestling because I really want to and I would come back tomorrow but I’m always gonna have in the back of my head, like what if something happens and I do get paralyzed? So it does scare me."
"I know I’m not gonna be fully ready mentally to come back, but watch out world! Because when I am mentally ready to come back, everyone’s in trouble!”
Paige will find out how much progress she has made in her recovery process as the star is set to receive a medical check-up soon.
