As mentioned earlier, Big E cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and won the WWE Championship on RAW. Vince Russo recently pointed out a huge mistake in the booking, which, according to him, made Bobby Lashley look like an idiot. Here’s what he had to say on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW:
“That’s the flaw in the writing right there because now Lashley is an idiot," argued Vince Russo. "Big E made it clear, ‘I am cashing in the suitcase.’ So as soon as Lashley gets the win in the ‘real world,’ he is waiting for Big E. Bro, here’s the picture that they tried to paint that didn’t work for me. ‘Oh! Lashley’s anger got away from him. He wasn’t thinking clearly. He blew up and then went after Orton and then went after Riddle.'"

“No, bro. Big E told us a million times, ‘I am cashing in, I am cashing in, I am cashing in,’" Russo added. You got the 1, 2, 3 now you are facing the entrance. The fact that you went after Riddle and went after, Orton, no bro it wasn’t your temper, now you are an idiot. Now you are an imbecile because the guy told you eighteen times that I am cashing in the case. So, that’s the flaw in the story right there."
He also noted that Lashley’s injury ended up taking away a little credibility from Big E’s world title victory. Despite that, the result fetched a positive reaction as top superstars as well as fans congratulated the New Day member for his incredible achievement.
