It has been reported by PWInsider and Fightful Select that WWE Superstars Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair had an argument backstage during SmackDown. There were disagreements over how their segment was supposed to go down. During the show, the RAW and SmackDown Women's titles were set to be exchanged between the two women.
However, they ended up throwing the championships, which was never the plan. The plan was for Lynch to hold both the WWE Women's championships for a while before handing one to Flair. But Charlotte Flair did not play along and went off-script.

"I'm working on getting more, but PWInsider's report is in line with what I'd heard late Friday. There were disagreements with how the segment was going to go, they hadn't planned on the belt being thrown down, and there were some words exchanged backstage," Sean Ross Sapp tweeted right after the segment.
It was also reported that a major portion of the roster had already left the venue when this happened. After a long work week, the employees were looking to leave early.
