Welcome to the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's WWE News and Rumor Roundup. Today, we have some big stories involving Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, and Rhea Ripley.
The American Nightmare's WrestleMania 41 opponent might be set unless The Rock decides he wants to return. Meanwhile, the Women's World Championship match on RAW's premiere on Netflix has been updated. Meanwhile, two current superstars have gotten engaged over the holidays.
So, without further ado, here are today's stories.
#1. Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley - Last Woman Standing
Liv Morgan is set to defend her Women's World Championship against Rhea Ripley on the January 6, episode of RAW. It could end up being their last match after the stipulation was revealed. In this week's episode of Main Event, it was confirmed that Ripley and Morgan would face each other in a Last Woman Standing Match.
Considering the stipulation, this could mean something big will happen at the premiere of Monday Night RAW on Netflix. It remains to be seen who will walk out as the Women's World Champion, as Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley go to war one final time.
#2. WWE NXT's Arianna Grace and Channing Lorenzo get engaged
NXT Superstar Arianna Grace recently announced that she was engaged to Channing Lorenzo. The two are a part of the developmental brand and their relationship has been documented on social media. Grace, who is the daughter of Santino Marella, revealed the happy news via her official Instagram handle:
"Yes to forever. 🥹 Last night was so perfect, and I am so in love. ❤️ Excited to share… we are engaged!!!!!!!! Woooohoooo!!!!!" Grace wrote.

#3. Cody Rhodes could face John Cena at WrestleMania 41
Cody Rhodes will likely headline one of the nights of WrestleMania 41, but it remains to be seen who he will face at the event. A report from PWInsider has suggested that WWE has discussed John Cena as The American Nightmare's challenger at The Show of Shows next April.
However, while there have been talks regarding the match, plans could very easily change if The Rock returns. The Final Boss is not a lock for WrestleMania 41, which is why WWE seems to be leaning towards Cena as Rhodes' opponent.
WWE has reportedly made provisions in case The Rock comes back and chooses to face either Cody Rhodes or John Cena. The current Undisputed WWE Champion would be the most logical opponent for him, given that the match has been heavily teased.
