AJ Styles is widely regarded as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time. The Phenomenal One recently received huge praise from another legend Diamond Dallas Page. DDP noted that Styles is a first-ballot Hall of Famer without any question.
"AJ [Styles] is one of the greatest of all time and absolutely first-ballot Hall of Famer. I mean, he's phenomenal for shoot [for real], and there are times I'll just text him over the years, and I was like, 'You really are Superman,'" Diamond Dallas Page said.
Styles is currently on the sidelines after suffering an injury during his match against Carmelo Hayes. There is no timeline for his return.
#1. WWE legend confirms he will never wrestle again
Over the years, we have seen numerous legends and hall of famers come out of retirement for another run or final match. However, that won't be the case for DDP as the WWE legend recently confirmed that he is retired for good when asked about another potential match:
"No [laughs]. It's so important for me, my body feels good," said DDP.
DDP had a short first stint in the global juggernaut as he was a part of the company for just a year. However, he was a major name for WCW and won the world title on three occasions.
