We're back with yet another edition of the daily WWE News & Rumor Roundup, which comes on the heels of an eventful SmackDown episode. Jacob Fatu made his debut to join the new Bloodline, but his arrival in the company might not have been as straightforward as many imagined.
Elsewhere, a well-known figure dropped an unforeseen statement about her shocking exit. Finally, we also have some surprising details regarding Triple H not being in favor of a top faction's return.
On that note, here are the day's top stories:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#1. Kayla Braxton is leaving
In a development that most never saw coming, Kayla Braxton announced that she was set to end her eight-year run in the WWE.
In a lengthy statement, the 33-year-old thanked the promotion for a lovely tenure, which made her one of the most popular broadcast personalities in the WWE.
As one of the finest interviews on RAW and SmackDown, Braxton was a well-liked on-screen name discovered and brought into World Wrestling Entertainment by Michael Cole in 2016. An emotional Kayla thanked Triple H, Nick Khan, and the WWE before she began a new chapter in her career.

Fightful reports that Kayla Braxton's deal expired recently. As things stand, she is in a verbal agreement with WWE, as she appeared on the latest SmackDown episode.
AEW has reportedly also "been made aware" of Kayla Braxton's WWE departure, but currently, there are no updates on contact between the two sides.
#2. Triple H turned down a Hurt Business return
Led by MVP and Bobby Lashley, The Hurt Business was briefly one of the most dominant groups until a few questionable creative decisions led to their split.
Lashley, MVP, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin were heavily featured during the Thunderdome era, which helped The All Mighty capture the World Championship.
A brief reunion never led to anything substantial, and since 2022, WWE has dropped multiple hints of a potential reunion of the original Hurt Business. MVP, however, recently revealed on Instagram that Triple H and the new management team bluntly rejected the idea of getting Hurt Business back.
While it is surprising to see MVP make the inside information public, it seems like Triple H is looking for a fresh television presentation., which, sadly for the fans, does not involve a reunited Hurt Business.
#3. WWE could face a hurdle with Jacob Fatu
It took a while, but the wait was indeed worth it. Jacob Fatu made his explosive debut on SmackDown and looked every bit a superstar as hyped up online in recent weeks.
The former MLW star has been one of the most exciting talents in the world, and his inclusion into the Bloodline has also been well-received by the fans. However, his criminal record could potentially be a hindrance.
Fightful Select noted that Fatu had never worked outside the United States due to his record, which was from a life he'd left behind. Fightful was told that with the increased focus on International PLEs, they could come across a "hurdle" regarding Fatu.
It was clarified that the new regime has always been interested in Fatu, and he has already made a good impression backstage by being very respectful to everybody behind the scenes.
If his debut was any indication, WWE might have a big talent on their hands.
