#4. Vince McMahon told AEW's Mark Henry that WWE would look to bring him back
Mark Henry ended his lengthy association with WWE by signing with AEW earlier this year. The Hall of Famer revealed on Busted Open Radio that his former employer might come looking for him again in three years.
Mark Henry opened up about his conversation with Vince McMahon before leaving WWE and how he urged the boss to let him take the AEW job. The Chairman believed in Mark Henry and was confident that his promotion would try to re-hire him in the future.
Here's what Mark Henry said:
"I was like, 'Vince, I'm tired of waiting, I'm gonna take this job. I want to get experience, and I want to prove to you and everybody else that I can do this.' And he said, 'You know what, Mark, I believe you will, and I'm sure we'll come looking for you in three years."
While we've seen many former WWE stars jump ship to AEW, there could come a time when Vince McMahon lures away stars from Tony Khan's company.
#3. Hulk Hogan suffering from serious health issues
Ric Flair shared an update on Hulk Hogan's health during the debut episode of his "Wooooo Nation Uncensored" podcast.
While Flair didn't go into much detail, the Hall of Famer stated that Hogan was dealing with serious health issues. The duo has been in regular touch, and Nature Boy recalled getting Hulkster's support when he was in a coma.
Here's what Flair disclosed about the WWE legend:
"He's having some really bad health issues, but he keeps up with me. We support each other, good and bad. When I was in the hospital, he flew up that day like everybody else that came up to see me…Hulk was gracious; Jimmy Hart was great. I don't remember seeing them because I was in a coma, but they made the effort to go. Those are the kind of things that mean a lot."
Hulk Hogan has had countless surgeries over the past decade, and the last sighting of him in September painted an alarming picture of his health.
The WWE legend apparently had trouble moving around at the charity show, and video from the event was widely circulated online.
More details on Hulk Hogan's health should be out soon, so stay tuned.
