WWE News: Zack Ryder's passion for WWE helped him to win his childhood battle against cancer

Zack Ryder has always been the darling of the internet community. His recent victory at WrestleMania blew up the social media as his supporters cheered for his long deserved title win. Though he lost the title to “The Miz“ the following night, he still remains a fan-favourite.

In his recent interview with Michael Cole, Zack Ryder talked about having goosebumps and tears as he came out of the ladder match from WrestleMania 32. He went on to say that his childhood dream of walking the WrestleMania aisle had come true and he was amazed when WWE legends like Scott Hall and Steve Austin congratulated him.

When Cole brought up the post-WrestleMania Raw, Ryder said that it was unbelievable to hear fans chant “you deserve it” to him. He then went on to talk about losing the title to “The Miz.” He said it sucked to lose the title but he knows that could get it back if he gets another shot at the title.

When questioned about his passion for business, Ryder replied stating that he was alwyas obsessed with WWE. He also revealed that he was diagnoised with cancer when he was in high school. And his passion to get to WWE helped him beat the cancer. Apparently Ryder had tumour in his foot which spread to both of his lungs. He underwent chemotheraphy and surgery, but all that while, it was his dream to become a WWE Superstar which motivated him to fight the accursed cancer head on.

Ryder went on to say that he didn’t take 10 years in indies to get here, but it took him to years in WWE to make it to WrestleMania. And he also stated that he was proud that he made most of the chance that was provided to him.

When asked about his future, Ryder revealed his desire for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He said that people underestimate him a lot. But what makes him dangerous is that he has nothing to lose. He assured that he will knock any chane given to him out of the park and reaffiremed that he is here to stay and he won’t let the WWE universe to forget him again.
