What's the story?
Samoa Joe has taken to social media so as to tease an in-ring comeback.
Dealing with a foot injury, Joe was said to be likely to miss Wrestlemania 34. However, 'The Destroyer' seems to have a surprise for the WWE Universe ahead of the Show of Shows.
In case you didn't know…
Samoa Joe received a huge main-event push on WWE's RAW brand last year, as the promotion's higher-ups had him headline its Great Balls of Fire PPV against WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar last year.

Joe also competed in several other high-profile matchups, and was a part of key storylines on the WWE's red brand all throughout 2017.
The heart of the matter
While Samoa Joe did miss out on a few months owing to a knee injury last year, he competed regularly from October onwards, until the January 1st, 2018 edition of Monday Night RAW.
Joe competed against Roman Reigns in a WWE Intercontinental Championship Match on New Year's Day and as well as coming up short in the match, he aggravated a previous foot injury. On a recent edition of Booker’s T’s podcast Heated Conversations, Joe asserted that his in-ring comeback is "a week-to-week thing".
The vast majority of professional wrestling experts believe that Joe - who has been sidelined ever since - is likely to miss WrestleMania 34 as the WWE have removed him from all the scheduled live events - only advertising him for house shows from May onwards.
Regardless, Joe took to his official Instagram page, and posted an animated photograph showing him holding the WWE Universal title, with the caption - "soon."
What's next?
WrestleMania 34 takes place on April 8th and given the magnitude and cultural significance of the WWE event, Samoa Joe has insinuated that he'd love to make his in-ring return at the earliest possible date.
At the time of writing this, neither Joe nor the WWE have expounded upon his aforementioned cryptic social media post.
Author's take
Samoa Joe has never been one to use social media in vain... 'The Destroyer' is all business.
Besides, with WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar teasing a potential departure from the WWE, there aren't any Superstars who'd be able to match Joe's in-ring intensity. That in turn could lead to the WWE Universe witnessing Joe finally capture that ever-elusive Universal title.
