What's the story?
WWE Superstars Sasha Banks and Bayley spoke to Givemesport recently about their upcoming Battle Royal at WrestleMania. They also opened up on how they feel about not having a singles match of their own at WrestleMania.
Both women did not seem too fazed about not having a singles match, and revealed why it would be better to have their moment somewhere down the line, rather than at WM.
In case you didn’t know…
WWE have been slowly building towards a feud between the two best friends, ever since Sasha Banks turned on Bayley and eliminated her from the first ever Women's Elimination Chamber match.

Seeing the build-up, fans thought that the feud would culminate at the Grandest Stage of Them All with a match between the two female Superstars, but unfortunately, it was revealed that the two would be part of the Women's Battle Royal.
The heart of the matter
Upon being asked what she thought about not having a singles match at 'Mania, The Boss revealed that she was excited to be a part of the Battle Royal. She went on to add that even if they did get a match, they would not get much time to showcase their skill.
"Overall, people know our story, they’ve seen us grow up in NXT but I don’t want to throw away a match that was created within two weeks. I want people to be fully invested and it's not the time at WM. The card is stacked and if we did get it (a match) at WrestleMania, we would probably have five minutes if you tried to add us to it right now."
Bayley echoed the sentiment, saying that the two of them would be in the WWE for many years down the line and that there was plenty of time for the two of them to have a match. This is what The Hugger had to say:
"It would've been amazing but it could still happen next year, and the next year, and the next year. I'm just happy to be a part of it (WrestleMania) for the second year in a row, and being in this WM Women's Battle Royal and possibly making history by becoming the first-ever winner of the battle royal. Its still a huge deal to be a part of the show regardless."
What's next?
The two women will be part of the first-ever WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34.

Author's take
I think both the women are spot on with why it would be better to have a match at another show instead of WrestleMania, as there would be fewer time constraints and the talented Superstars will have more freedom to showcase their true potential.
