What's the story?
Sasha Banks has a reputation for being very outspoken. During a recent edition of the Edge and Christian Pod of Awesomeness, she claimed that WWE has way too many pay-per-views.
As a result, she maintained that there's isn't often enough time to build a program. I'd like to thank Fightful for the quotes below.
In case you didn't know...
I had a chance to catch up with Sasha Banks earlier this week. You can read all about it at this very location.
We all know that Sasha Banks is scheduled to take on Ronda Rousey at the Royal Rumble in a contest that Rousey has described as her dream match. Not long ago, she also trolled the audience and hinted at quitting WWE alongside her very good friends, The Revival.
One wonders if Banks can dethrone Rousey to become RAW Women's Champion at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
The heart of the matter
Sasha Banks feels that there isn't enough time for people to digest WWE storylines owing to the packed WWE pay per view schedule of the company. This is what she had to say:
I do wish there was more time to build. We have way too many pay-per-views. Once Royal Rumble is done, we have three weeks until Elimination Chamber and then three weeks until Fastlane and then four weeks until WrestleMania. There's never enough time to where you can sit and digest these stories.
With only one week to go before the Ronda Rousey vs. Sasha Banks match at the Royal Rumble, one suspects that Sasha Banks is right. It seems only yesterday that the match was announced.
What's next?
With only one week to go, Rousey vs. Banks is picking up steam. Will one of them go heel this week? We find out in a matter of hours!
Do you agree with Banks? Does WWE have too many pay-per-views?
