It looks like Sasha Banks’ run as a babyface on Raw will be coming to an end shortly.
Cageside Seats reports the move may happen within the next few months, which makes sense, given that there may be a match with Bayley, which could occur at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando. Now that it appears WWE is moving away from Banks and current Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, there is a change in how both women are being booked.
It appears Bayley is headed toward a feud with Flair. Banks has been confronted by Nia Jax, as it was revealed on the episode of Raw following Survivor Series on Monday night. It also appears that a union between Jax and Flair could gain some traction towards the end of the year and into 2017.

After being drafted to Raw, Banks made her first appearance for the brand the following week, where she defeated Flair to win the WWE Women's Championship for the first time.Banks, a former NXT Women’s Champion and two-time Raw Women’s Champion, lost at Hell in a Cell last month to Flair, who defeated her rival in Boston, of all places, to become a three-time champion.
The Hell in a Cell match was the first time two women had faced each other inside the cage structure in a WWE pay-per-view event.
While she has played the role of a heel in the past, which included arguably the greatest women’s match in NXT history with Bayley at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn, where she lost to her rival; Banks was still one of the most popular performers on the roster.
After her successful run in NXT, Banks was part of the “revolution” of women that helped to recreate the division in WWE. After her promotion to the main roster in July 2015 with Flair and Becky Lynch, Flair immediately grabbed the brass ring and was booked as the top contender for the WWE Divas Title (as it was known then), which was held by Nikki Bella.
Banks and Lynch were part of the second tier of women who waited their turn. Lynch was drafted to SmackDown Live in July and has since captured the Women’s Title. Bayley was promoted to the main roster in August when she filled in for Banks due to an injury.
