What’s the story?
We got a huge dose of nostalgia tonight when Stone Cold Steve Austin interrupted a McMahon family "celebration" on WWE RAW 25 where Mr McMahon fed Shane McMahon to the Texas Rattlesnake as a sacrifice to try and save himself, but shortly after that, Shane took to comment on sharing the ring with Stone Cold.
In case you didn’t know...
RAW 25 opened tonight with Shane and Stephanie bringing out their dad to thank him for the past 25 years of RAW and present him with a plaque, but Vince turned heel in typical Vince fashion and delivered some trash talk to the Brooklyn crowd.

Well, Stone Cold saved the day and came out to challenge McMahon just like old times - before Mr McMahon pleaded vulnerability and instead sicked Austin on his own son.
Well, it didn't last long as, after a few hugs and a few beers, Mr McMahon got his own dose of nostalgia as Stone Cold turned the tables - Stunnering him and Shane once more for good measure.
The heart of the matter
Well, Shane O Mac took to Twitter to retaliate - but had some kind words for Steve Austin on this monumental night.
'Stone Cold' Steve Austin was undoubtedly one of the biggest draws, if not the biggest draw of the night. He provided the perfect way to open the show, having been such a staple of the show back in the Attitude Era when he was feuding with the McMahons.
As soon as that glass shattered, we all knew what was going to happen, but once the cameras were off and Shane was backstage, he took to Twitter to bury the hatchet with Stone Cold
What’s next?
Well, sadly, probably nothing. This may be the last time we ever see Stone Cold deliver a stunner to a McMahon on live television. We sure hope not as it's always incredibly entertaining!
Author’s take
While it's cool to see Stone Cold back on RAW, it's perhaps even cooler to see Shane O Mac break character on Twitter to praise the Rattlesnake.
As much as I loved seeing Stone Cold open a can of whoop-ass on Vince, seeing them hug and share a beer before it was pretty cool too. Without Vince, Shane and Stone Cold, we undoubtedly wouldn't be privileged enough to be able to watch the 25th Anniversary of RAW, so it's always great to see some kinds words shared between these legends.
