What's the story?
According to the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore's fate in WWE was already decided this past Monday when the company decided to suspend Amore in the first place.
In case you didn't know...
In a recent turn of rather controversial events, Amore was recently fired from WWE amid rape allegations that were made public ahead of Raw's 25th Anniversary show.
He was accused by a woman named Philomena Sheahan who claimed that the former WWE superstar sexually assaulted her in Phoenix last year.
The heart of the matter
During the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer radio, it was noted that WWE had initially decided to fire Amore when they released the superstar's suspension statement in the first place.
As it was previously noted, WWE had decided to let go of him when he first admitted the fact that the Phoenix Police Department has been investigating the rape allegations against him. Additionally, WWE also found out about these allegations when media outlets emailed them for a statement on what the alleged victim was claiming on Twitter.
What's next?
As we all know, despite being among one of the most disliked superstars backstage, Amore was pushed by WWE creative thanks to his immense charismatic capabilities and his unparalleled mic skills.
However, as of right now, this situation surrounding him makes up a very insensitive case and we shall wait and see how this story further unfolds.
Author's Take
I think we shouldn't jump to any sort of conclusions without any further proof regarding Enzo Amore and these certain allegations of which Enzo has been accused of.
