Stacy “The Kat” Carter is Jerry “The King” Lawler’s ex-wife, who has had a stint in WWE for two years. She was not a trained wrestler by any means and was brought in during a time when Vince McMahon “wanted 10s” in Jim Ross’ own words.
However, she still managed to win the prestigious Women’s Championship at Armageddon 1999 in a Four Corners Evening Gown Pool match by defeating then-champion Ivory, Jacqueline, and Barbara "BB" Bus.
During the aforementioned night when she won the Women’s Championship, she stripped, in what was the first time WWE ever featured. When asked about that on the latest edition of The Ross Report, Carter said that it was completely scripted and that they even asked her and her partner Jerry “The King” Lawler whether they were ok with it.
Miss Kitty didn’t seem to have too much of a problem like the other women's wrestlers of the era did with the gimmick matches they were doing. This was because she was not a trained wrestler like the others were.
There was reportedly some heat between her and Ivory -- who is considered one of the cornerstones of the Attitude Era female wrestlers. However, The Kat denied the claims and said that she only received an earful from Ivory once when she saw her eating a Kit Kat bar in the locker room area and told her to keep her eating habits to herself.
The podcast with Jim Ross was excellent which revealed her relationship, eventual marriage, and divorce to Jerry Lawler, her time in WWE, the locker room, her friendship with Chyna, etc. Carter is currently involved in animal welfare projects. You can follow her on her twitter page here
