WWE News: Stone Cold Steve Austin appearance during WrestleMania weekend announced

WWE Icon and Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin has been announced to make a very rare meet and greet appearance at Wrestlecon this April.

In case you didn’t know...

Stone Cold Steve Austin doesn't make very many autograph appearances these days, in fact, it has been a number of years since his last.

Austin is a very sought after guest for appearances, conventions, and shows, so comes with a hefty price tag.

The heart of the matter

Wrestlecon announced on Wednesday, February 28th that Stone Cold Steve Austin would be making an appearance for them on the day of WrestleMania, on the 8 of April, at Wrestlecon. They said in their announcement:

Please note, this is not a Wrestlecon admission ticket. You must separately purchase a Sunday admission ticket or 3day pass from Wrestlecon to get into the convention!

This is your RARE chance to meet Steve Austin and get his autograph and a photo with the ultimate ass-kicker! ''

Wrestlcon will be offering several different packages to meet the Hall of Famer, including the 'Steve Austin 316 Package' for $316, which includes three autographs and one photo. The 'Steve Austin Combo', which includes one autograph and one picture, for $179, and profession photo ops with Austin for $100.

What’s next?

Wrestlecon will be held at The Sheraton Hotel on Canal Street in New Orleans, from April 5 - 8. Steve Austin will be exclusively appearing on WrestleMania Sunday.

Many fans are hoping Austin may put in an appearance at WrestleMania itself, which is also a possibility. Austin last appeared at a WrestleMania back in 2016 at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, Texas.

Very surprised as Austin is very rare for meet and greets but also extremely happy as I will be meeting him. This is a fantastic opportunity for the fans attending the events of WrestleMania week.
