We’ve all seen ‘ Stone Cold’ Steve Austin chug down beers through the years. But now, the WWE legend has revealed the actual amount of beer he drank during his time in the ring.
On a recent episode of his podcast called ‘The Steve Austin’ show the WWE Superstar revealed that on one occasion, he and his colleagues had managed to chug down about 115 beers in the ring.
Here’s what the 51-year-old wrestler had to say:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
“Were you in Japan the time we did the beer bash with the Dudleys and Stacy Kiebler? We went through 115 beers that night, and that was the most I ever went through. A lot of people said, ‘Hey man, is that real beer?’ And I said yes, it was always real beer..except for the one time..maybe it was against the rules of the building, but it was NA beer, non-alcoholic.”
The WWE legend even confessed that there were many days he left the building with a buzz because of all the beers he drank inside the ring.
In the past, the WWE star has had to bear the brunt of constant allegations that he uses non-alcoholic brews to put on a show in front of the audience, and it’s only now that he has agreed that he had done so once because the arena rules demanded it.
However, it’s impressive to know that all the other times he fought, the beer was actually real.
In one of Stone Cold’s famous appearances, precisely the one on March 22nd, 1999 he interrupted RAW, with a beer truck. He then proceeded to hose down his then-rival The Rock and the MacMahon’s with beer.
