WWE News: Summer Rae speaks out in detail following her release

Summer Rae was just full of gratitude
Summer Rae was just full of gratitude

What's the story?

Popular WWE Superstar Summer Rae, who was recently released from her contract with WWE, broke her silence. Unsurprisingly, she was not bitter at all, and was proud of her time spent in the company, working in her dream job.

The most notable part of her comment included the bit where she addressed the part about her fans reminding her time and again that she never won a title. Rae responded and commented about how she did actually win a title, in her own way.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

In case you didn't know...

The world reacted with shock when WWE officially announced that it was parting ways with three of its superstars - Emma, Darren Young and Summer Rae. Rae's departure set social media on fire as she received a vast outpouring of support from her fans.

Having been an integral part of WWE for many years now, Rae was filled with gratitude in her social media post.

The heart of the matter

Rae shared a picture of her debut, and urged fans to not be upset that she never won a title, because according to her, she did win one:

I hear some of you say "but you didn't become champ", "you didn't get the push you deserved", "you didn't get a title run". But see, I got MY title. I became a WWE Diva.

Rae urged her fans to stop being vocal about Rae's release, because she was grateful for all that she'd accomplished in her career:

So please don't fight with one another about me & start boards about Justice for Summer Rae. Know that I DID IT! I am a WWE Diva, a WWE Superstar. And no one will ever be able to take that away from me!

We wish Rae all the best for the next phase of her career.

What's next?

We hope that Rae uses the momentum of her WWE career to approach the next phase of her life, head first, whether it's in sports entertainment, or modelling, her original passion.

Author's take

I'm glad I saw Summer Rae wrestle at the Live Event in New Delhi last year. It's a shame to see her career end this way, but I will not dwell on it, as Rae has urged her fans to stay positive. Best of luck to Summer for all her future endeavours.
