What's the story?
Luke Harper has been missing in action for quite some time now, nursing a very serious wrist injury. He made his return to action at a WWE Live Event two weeks ago.
While he's not been seen on TV since then, Luke Harper did compete against Apollo Crews at Trenton, NJ. As can be seen in the image below, he is no longer a Bludgeon Brother.

In case you didn't know...
The Bludgeon Brothers dominated the SmackDown Tag Team scene going into WrestleMania 34. Shortly after the event transpired, Erick Rowan suffered an injury and The Bludgeon Brothers have not competed since.
Erick Rowan has made a return to action since then, as Daniel Bryan's intellectual peer. It is clear that he's left the whole Wyatt Family shtick behind him for now.
From the looks of it, it may be the same case with Luke Harper too.
The heart of the matter
Even Alexa Bliss returned to action at Trenton, NJ at the very same Live Event. Luke Harper took on the ever so athletic Apollo Crews in a singles match and came out on the losing side, in this unfortunate comeback.
That said, it does seem like he will be on the RAW brand considering that he has been traveling with the RAW Live Crew. Moreover, he seems to have dropped the whole Bludgeon Brothers gimmick and is focussed on being a singles superstar.
It will be interesting to see exactly what plans WWE has for the big man, going forward.
What's next?
I'm assuming that the next step is for Luke Harper to get on TV soon enough. I wonder if they will hold off his big return until WrestleMania. The roster is currently far too stacked to introduce him already.
What should the future hold for Harper? Let us know in the comments.
