WWE star Sarona Snuka-Polamalu aka Tamina, who is currently out of action due to injury, recently went under the knife at a hospital in Miami, Florida to repair a torn ligament that was caused by an injury she picked up last week – reports wrestlinginc.com.
Her manager, Dany Garcia, was the one who broke the news about her recent operation.
Garcia broke the news via social networking site Twitter, and also tweeted a picture of medicine vials, while implying that she was with her at the hospital as she was being operated.
Tamina replied to Garcia’s tweet a day after, thanking her for her support after the surgery.
The 38-year-old, who has been with WWE since 2009, has had a recurring problem with her ligament, and was made a part of Team B.A.D in 2015 shortly after recuperating from her previous injury, which occurred 11 months prior.
Team B.A.D broke up this February on an episode of RAW, after which Tamina joined Naomi, Lana, Emma and Summer Rae in a 10-Woman Tag Team Match at WrestleMania 32.
Tamina was a part of WWE’s traditional post-WrestleMania tour of Europe, and last wrestled at an event in Malaga, Spain on April 23rd, the last show of the tour.
