What's the story?
Despite initial reports to the contrary, Mae Young Classic competitor Taynara Conti is not going to be joining Adam Cole and company in The Undisputed Era. Conti was brought to the ring by the trio in order to distract Nikki Cross during the SAnitY member's match, but a video posted on YouTube after the show suggests that Conti was there under false pretences.
In case you didn't know...
Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish have certainly made their mark since arriving on NXT at TakeOver: Brooklyn. Christened 'The Undisputed Era', the trio have set their sights on the championships of NXT, taking out Drew McIntyre and SAnitY at the big event in New York.

On this week's episode of NXT, the trio got involved in SAnitY's business once again. Nikki Cross was competing for a shot at the NXT Women's Championship, when Undisputed sent Taynara Conti out to the ring to distract and attack Cross. The distraction was successful, and Cross came up short in the match.
Is The Undisputed Era looking to add some female talent to their ranks?
The heart of the matter
If the video posted on WWE's YouTube channel is to believed, the answer to that question is most definitely a 'no'. The video showed Cole, Fish and O'Reilly strolling outside the venue before being asked about Taynara's interference in the match. The trio are then approached by the Brazilian, who reminds them of a mysterious 'deal'.
Adam Cole, acting as the focal point of the group, plays dumb at this suggestion, before telling Conti that she had a 'use' and that the faction were done with her. This left Conti confused, but there was no confusion on the part of the former Ring of Honor stars.
It seems as though The Undisputed Era used Conti simply to annoy SAnitY further, and they achieved that aim and then some.
What's next?
Nikki Cross isn't known for her patience, so one can only assume that she will try and get some revenge on Conti sooner rather than later. As for Cole, O'Reilly and Fish, they are on a collision course with SAnitY, with the two trios set to join The Authors of Pain and Roderick Strong in the forthcoming War Games match at the next NXT TakeOver.
Author's take
It is still somewhat surreal seeing the former ROH wrestlers as a unified force in NXT. Cole, Fish and O'Reilly could dominate the developmental brand for the next year at least, ushering in a new generation of talent on the best WWE-produced wrestling show going today.
