WWE News: The Bar takes a shot at The Usos

The Bar winning tag team gold once again

What's the story?

In last night's Monday Night Raw, Sheamus and Cesaro, after having beaten Rollins & Ambrose for the Raw Tag Team Championships, talked about The Usos.

In case you didn't know...

Earlier in the night, The Bar confronted General Manager Kurt Angle backstage, saying how he hadn't made the Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose prove their worth heading into Survivor Series. So they asked Kurt for another title shot.

In the main event, The New Day came through the crowd, making their presence felt. They warned the Raw locker room to prepare for 'Under Seige part 'two'. Capitalizing on the distraction, Sheamus laid out Rollins with a Brogue Kick for the victory, thus becoming Raw Tag Team Champions for the third time.

The heart of the matter

Sheamus and Cesaro were interviewed by Mike Rome backstage after their triumphant victory.

They talked about becoming three-time Raw Tag Team champions. Following which, they bragged about beating three of the most decorated teams in WWE history alongside The Hardys, The New Day and now The Shield.

What's next?

With their focus solely on The Usos, The Bar is determined to beat them in order to prove that Raw is the superior show in the battle for brand supremacy.

Author's take

It was a smart move on part of the New Day for invading Raw once again. This serves to further raise the tension and build up the ensuing rivalry between both brands quite well, making for a much-anticipated Survivor Series.

The Bar and The Usos are two of the best tag teams in WWE. If history is anything to go by, they will put on an instant classic. Eagerly waiting to see what will unfold when they square off.
