In an interview with ESPN.com’s Jacob Wolf, WWE Superstar and the current six-time Intercontinental Champion The Miz, explained why SmackDown is a better show than Monday Night RAW.
The Miz stated that although RAW is a great show, SmackDown LIVE is better, adding that the blue brand possesses better characters, stories, and talent. He added further that if one were to watch both RAW and SmackDown LIVE, the tendency would be to demonstrate considerable interest towards the talent in the latter.
The Miz said that this attraction towards SmackDown emerges from the competition between the two shows. SmackDown LIVE according to the Miz has been clawing, scratching, and fighting to get everything that RAW already possesses.

The Miz justified his stance saying that SmackDown LIVE makes do with the talent they possess, and then try to maximise on that talent. He went on to say that they have Superstars like AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, and Dolph Ziggler who know how to get things done.
The Miz faced RAW's Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship tonight at Survivor Series. During the match, when Zayn applied the Figure-Four-Leglock on The Miz, Maryse (Miz's wife) rung the bell to distract and make Zayn believe that he won the match. The Miz caught Zayn from behind and pinned him to retain the title.
Team SmackDown LIVE, faced Team RAW, in a traditional five-on-five elimination match, with Bray Wyatt pinning Roman Reigns in the end to achieve the victory. However, the Women’s team representing SmackDown lost to team RAW in the 5-on-5 Elimination match.
