What's the story?
It was expected, but it still got a huge pop. The Shield are back together! This past week on WWE RAW, on the Fastlane go-home show, the trio of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns got the band together as The Shield reformed.
In case you didn't know...
On the night that Roman Reigns announcement that he has leukaemia and that he will be stepping away from the ring in 2018, Dean Ambrose turned on Seth Rollins, officially breaking up The Shield.

Reigns returned to RAW last week and announced that his cancer is in remission. Reigns and Rollins had a moment as they hugged after Reigns' announcement, and the two saved Ambrose later that night after he was attacked by Elias, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin.
The heart of the matter
RAW once again kicked off with Roman Reigns, who brought out Seth Rollins, and The Big Dog asked Rollins to consider bringing back The Shield.
Rollins was hesitant at first, but then agreed. Reigns asked Ambrose to come to the ring, but before he could make it to the ring, he was attacked with a guitar by Elias.
In a singles match later in the night, Elias was victorious over Ambrose after hitting the Drift Away. Reigns and Rollins once again came to the ring and tried to persuade Ambrose to join them, but Ambrose declined and walked through the crowd and was set to go out of the arena before the trio of Corbin, McIntyre, and Lashley made their way to the ring.
The trio then gave Reigns and Rollins a beatdown before Ambrose came to the ring to save them as The Shield reformed once again!
What's next?
The Shield will face off against Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre in a six-man tag team match at this Sunday's Fastlane PPV.
