What's the story?
Dean Ambrose finally waved goodbye to WWE tonight and, while his "final match" was rather unceremonious, what happened after RAW went off air definitely was not.
Fresh off of a match with Kofi Kingston that turned into an impromptu tag team match vs The Bar, Seth Rollins invited Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to the ring to give the Lunatic Fringe a proper send off.
In case you didn't know...
Ambrose did not wrestle at all at WrestleMania 35, and his match on RAW tonight didn't happen - with Lashley putting the former WWE Champion through the announce table instead.

Ambrose's final televised WWE match turned out to be at WWE Fastlane when The Shield reunited for one last match against Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin.
The heart of the matter
Ambrose was scheduled for one last match in the WWE tonight against Bobby Lashley, but things got personal and a brawl ensued, which ended with Lashley slamming the former WWE Champion through the announce table
At the end of the show, though, when RAW went off the air, Rollins and Reigns invited Ambrose to the ring to give him a proper send off.
Dean Ambrose had some final comments, where he said the best thing he’s ever seen in WWE was Rollins stomping Lesnar’s “dumb, lunchbox head into the ground and take the title back for the boys” and praised Reigns for "beating the **** out of cancer."
Ambrose also commented on Arn Anderson, stating that the veteran said they were just "two indie schmucks and a football player" when they were formed. The Shield then did their signature fist bump for the final time.
