WWE News: Undertaker and Goldberg not scheduled for 'Monday Night Raw'

The Undertaker looks at the WrestleMania crowd

What’s the story?

The Undertaker and Goldberg are currently not scheduled to appear on the Raw after WrestleMania.

The background

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

The WWE Raw after WrestleMania has been dubbed “WrestleMania Monday.” It’s the hottest crowd of the year, and WWE officials put all of their efforts into making it their best show of the year. That being said, it will be very hard to top what WrestleMania accomplished at the Citrus Bowl.

Goldberg lost his WWE Universal championship to a resilient Brock Lesnar in just under five minutes. The two behemoths did a great job at selling the match in a special way. As for The Undertaker, the WWE Universe probably witnessed the last match from The Deadman. After losing to Roman Reigns, he put down his robe, hat and gloves and walked away from the ring as a special tribute, leaving WWE fans speechless.

The heart of the matter

Plans for WrestleMania Monday are usually kept under wraps. A debut can be speculated upon, but the only thing that the fans can really go by is the list of advertised superstars for the show. WrestleZone.com is reporting that Goldberg and The Undertaker are not advertised for the show at all.

No matches have been advertised for Raw, but WWE is promoting the following storylines:

-“It’s my yard now”

-Bow down to “the Kingslayer” Seth Rollins

-Hardy homecoming, new RAW Tag Team Champions The Hardys

-The List of Owens, new WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens

-Champion of the Universe, new WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar

Author’s take

It is certainly a new era in the WWE. Last night was widely-considered The Phenom’s last match in professional wrestling. Roman Reigns is now a true, top guy. Matt and Jeff Hardy returned to the company and won the Raw Tag-Team championships. Bayley is still your Raw Women’s champion. Not having The Undertaker on the show may hurt the credibility of his “retirement,” but we’ll have to see what Vince McMahon comes up with for what could be a monumental episode of Raw
