What's the story?
As per the latest report by Dave Meltzer of WON, it looks like Riddick Moss has suffered a torn achilles tendon, and could be out of action for six to eight months.

In case you didn't know...
Riddick Moss signed with WWE in 2014 but has failed to achieve anything of significance during his tenure as an NXT Superstar.
In 2016, he started teaming up with Tino Sabettali and though it seemed like the duo were going to get a well-deserved push as a team, they were instead split up just a few weeks back.
Moss' former tag team partner, Tino Sabatelli, went on to have a surgery for a torn pectoral muscle, and will most likely be out for 8-9 months himself.
The heart of the matter
Looks like the former team of Riddick Moss and Tino Sabatelli have gone through bad luck even before they started out with their singles careers as both men will be out of action for a considerable period of time.
And seeing how NXT is filled with great talent, we can only hope that out of sight doesn't turn into out of mind for these two talented competitors.
What's next?
It doesn't look like Moss or Sabatelli will be in action anytime soon, and even though they had split up as a tag team, it would make more sense for the two to return as a team considering their expected times of return are also almost the same.
Author's take
It is always sad to see a superstar suffer injury, especially at a time they are being set up for a push.
However, I did not agree with the decision of splitting up the team of Moss and Sabatelli and I hope that the two are reunited as a team upon their returns.
