WWE News: Tyler Breeze defends Fashion Files segment and claims he isn't being wasted on SmackDown Live

What's the story?

The 'Fashion Files' has become a bit of a big segment on SmackDown Live and has featured not only Breezango but also The Ascension as the quartet have parodied a lot of content such as the X-Files and even Twins Peak.

Tyler Breeze and Fandango might not be seeing a lot of time in the ring due to their commitments but 'Prince Pretty' did have a bit of a pop at a fan who suggested he was being wasted by the WWE not using him in main events.

In case you didn't know...

The tag team of Breezango haven’t featured a lot in the storyline for the SmackDown tag titles with the Usos, Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable and The New Day battling it out in recent weeks.

However, their Fashion Files have gained an immense following and they keep producing the goods on a regular basis.

The heart of the matter

A fan had tweeted their frustration about Breeze not getting enough time main eventing SmackDown Live even after a quality run in NXT.

The fan even went out to suggest that the tag team was now “pointless” and that Breeze should be winning individual gold.

Breeze didn’t take the comment lightly and suggested that the Fashion Files have been running for close to six months and that was something to be proud of.

He even went out to suggest that if he was main eventing, then some of the other superstars in the ring be wasted.

What's next?

It is true that Breezango deserve to be in the tag title race but for now, the Fashion Files seems to be their bread and butter in the WWE and they just might have a few more surprises waiting for us, especially on the road to WrestleMania 34.

Author's take

Breeze certainly was one of the better performers in NXT but moving into the main roster does not always lead to success, especially as a singles competitor.

The Fashion Files did elevate Breezango to another level and now most of the WWE Universe knows about the pair, so Breeze is right in suggesting that their segment on SmackDown is something to celebrate, especially the longevity of it.

However, it would be great to see the team to wrestle a lot more than they have in recent weeks and maybe, they could be in the running for the title after Benjamin and Gable and The New Day are done with their feud with the Usos.
