In an appearance on Sam Roberts’ Notsam Wrestling podcast, professional boxer Tyson Fury addressed his upcoming WWE debut match.
Fury revealed that for several years, he had been hoping to work with WWE. He also explained why competing against Braun Strowman, in particular, is great for him.

WWE has hired two of the biggest names in pro boxing and MMA respectively, in Tyson Fury and Cain Velasquez. Both fighters will wrestle their first WWE match at the upcoming Crown Jewel pay-per-view.

While the combat sports and pro wrestling communities are understandably excited about both debuts, Fury has always been considered a natural fit for professional wrestling.

Tyson Fury has always had the itch to enter the world of professional wrestling, but his boxing commitments kept him out of WWE. Fury added that he only recently received this particular opportunity to perform for WWE.
Fury's children are big WWE fans, but Fury also revealed that they are massive Braun Strowman fans. 'The Gypsy King' noted that by competing in WWE against Braun Strowman, he’d most definitely be making his children happy.
Moreover, Fury emphasized that he’s good at boxing, and once a person becomes good at a sport, he can do any sport. Fury claimed that he is entering his upcoming Crown Jewel match against Strowman with a positive "Yes, I can" attitude.
WWE has already confirmed that the Tyson Fury vs. Braun Strowman showdown will serve as one of the marquee matchups at the Crown Jewel event, which takes place in Saudi Arabia on October 31st.
