In case you didn’t know…
Tyson Fury is in the middle of a court battle with the UK Anti-Doping Commission and has pointed out his intentions of regaining his boxing license soon.
The powers that be allege that Fury tested positive for a banned Performance Enhancing Drug (PED), apart from his recreational drug abuse; and the ‘Gypsy King’ was stripped of his Heavyweight titles as a result.
The heart of the matter
Tyson Fury also dealt with a ton of personal problems, as we’ve detailed right HERE; but was recently spotted at an expensive diner names ‘Jurys Inn’ in Middlesbrough that charges £100-per-head; where he was overheard jesting that he’s merely there ‘for the strippers’.
Furthermore, Fury explained his intentions of facing WWE legend ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin in April (the moth of Wrestlemania 34) next year—
“Hopefully I will be back in April. I’m looking at Stone Cold Steve Austin."
“Training is going good, but training is what training is. It is hard work but I do enjoy it.”
What’s next?
Should Tyson Fury return to the sport of professional boxing, big names such as Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, Joseph Parker, Luis Ortiz and others await him in the Heavyweight Division.
On the other hand, if Fury chooses to make the transition to the WWE, he’d be following in the foot-steps on legendary Heavyweight pugilist ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson—with the latter having appeared alongside Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels at Wrestelemania as well as with DX (Michaels and Triple H) in the years that followed.
