In 2015, proving her immense wrestling skills once again, Bayley defeated Banks to win the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. She was awarded the Match of the Year(2015) award by Pro Wrestling Illustrated for the 30-minute Iron Match for the Women’s Championship at NXT Takeover: Respect against Sasha Banks. Many fans speculated her to be a part of the Divas Revolution angle on the main roster but it didn’t happen. Rumors started to spread that Bayley will be debuting in the main roster soon, now that she has lost the NXT Women’s Championship. According to Cagesideseats.com, backstage offcials have cited that there is no plan to make her debut in the main roster materialize any time soon.
