Since her debut, back in January 2013, Bayley has consistently been one of the best female athletes of the Women’s divison of NXT. Potraying the gimmick of a fun loving, doe eyed fangirl, she successfully gained the love of the NXT Universe. In 2015, proving her immense wrestling skills once again, Bayley defeated Banks to win the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. She was awarded the Match of the Year(2015) award by Pro Wrestling Illustrated for the 30-minute Iron Match for the Women’s Championship at NXT Takeover: Respect against Sasha Banks. Rumors started to spread that Bayley will be debuting in the main roster soon, now that she has lost the NXT Women’s Championship.
