According to F4Wonline.com, WWE superstar Bray Wyatt has been sent home from WWE’s tour of Italy due to injury. The Eater of Worlds hurt his calf during a match with Roman Reigns.
Wyatt was performing at WWE’s Live Event in Italy this Wednesday before he picked up an injury on his right calf, which was the direct cause of him missing out on performing at the follow up shows which took place on Thursday and Friday.
The injury will undoubtedly come as a setback in the career of Wyatt, who hasn’t truly fulfilled his potential despite being paired or pitted against some of the franchise’s biggest names.
In all honesty, Bray has spent too much time in the shadow of the Wyatt family which prevented him from becoming a star in his own right. His unflattering record of not having a single title to his name in WWE despite being in the company for a long time doesn’t work in his favour either, which should set alarm bells ringing.
WWE seemed to take notice of this too and made efforts to promote him at WrestleMania and RAW, but the injury has thrown a spanner in the works.
The extent of the injury hasn’t been revealed yet, but one can only hope that Wyatt emerges stronger in more ways than one.
