WWE News: Update on Enzo Amore's return to WWE

Enzo suffered a concussion at WWE Payback

The team of Enzo Amore and Big Cass, along with The Vaudevillains, became the finalists of a eight team tournament to crown the #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship, held by the New Day. They faced each other at WWE Payback pay-per-view to determine the winner of the tournament.

During that match, Enzo suffered a legitimate concussion and the match had to be stopped at that very moment. It was later awarded to The Vaudevillains and they challenged the New Day for the Championship at WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view in a losing effort.

Although weeks have been passed since that injury of Enzo, WWE hasn’t provided any information about his return to in-ring competition. Cagesideseats.com states that, Enzo Amore was in Newark, New Jersey for WWE Extreme Rules and is rumored to travel with the main roster this week.

PWInsider informs that it's not confirmed whether he's cleared to wrestle or not, but WWE officials have a feeling that he's healthy enough to travel. This is indeed a positive step and Enzo may be used in a non-contact role until his in-ring return.

WWE wrestler Naomi, who's been out with a torn tendon, is also said to be back on the road and it seems she will be making her return to wrestling soon.
