What’s the story?
The WWE has announced that on 16th March 2016, the company will make a return to the iconic Madison Square Garden arena in New York City and the WWE have recently updated the line-up for their upcoming MSG show, featuring two title matches that are scheduled for the evening.
In case you didn’t know…
WWE and the Madison Square Garden have had a lot of history between them over the course of the past decade or so. The WWE has previously hosted numerous shows in the iconic MSG, including WrestleMania XX in 2004, a show that was main-evented by Chris Benoit, who won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, after outlasting Shawn Michaels and Triple H in a triple threat match.

Over the recent years, the WWE has hosted several house shows at the Madison Square Garden and in the past, we have seen the likes of Ivan Koloff, Shawn Michaels, and current WWE Champion AJ Styles capture various titles at the MSG.
The heart of the matter
With the WWE now set to make their grand return to the Madison Square Garden later this month, it has now been confirmed that on March 16th, 2018, for the first ever at the MSG, current Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will defend his title against “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman and “The Devil’s Favorite Demon” Kane in a rematch from this year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
Additionally, it has also been confirmed that several Smackdown Live superstars, such as the likes of WWE Champion AJ Styles and the 2018 Men’s Royal Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura will also be in action for the evening. Other than that, top Raw superstars Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Finn Balor will also feature on the MSG card.

Six-man tag team match:
Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Finn Balor vs The Miztourage

Elias and Bayley vs John Cena and Nikki Bella
Smackdown Live Special Attraction match:
AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
Raw Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Match:
The Bar vs The New Day vs Titus Worldwide
Additionally, the likes of Asuka, Matt Hardy, Bray Wyatt, Sasha Banks, and current WWE Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss are all slated to appear on the show.
What’s next?
WWE’s upcoming MSG show will definitely hype things up a lot more, considering the fact that we are on the Road to WrestleMania and are just a few weeks away from The Grandest Stage of Them All, which takes place on the 8th of April, in New Orleans.
