WWE News: Why SmackDown Supertars won't be at WWE RAW for the first time since brand extension

WWE Live event rosters will be more rigidly split

WWE’s live events will now be sticking more strictly to their respective rosters following the WWE Brand Extension last month, however, there will still be some RAW stars appearing on SmackDown during this week’s live events and vice-versa.

This Monday, SmackDown’s WWE live event will be opposing Monday Night RAW for the first time since the brand split, at the Four States Entertainment Center in Texarkana, AR. SmackDown’s mega stars such as John Cena, WWE Champion Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, AJ Styles and Bray Wyatt will all be on hand for the live event, as they are scheduled to appear.

SmackDown Live tour days will now be from Saturday through Tuesdays, while RAW’s will be from Fridays through Mondays. Monday Night RAW stars such as Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are still scheduled to work this Tuesday’s live SmackDown event for the dark match, but after that they will be working exclusively for Monday Night RAW.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

We’ve seen the WWE Draft implicated before this in the past and this is not a new tactic from WWE creative. However, each and every time Superstars begin to flood to their opposite brands it eventually leads to the dreaded ‘Super Show’ with all Superstars appearing on both shows.

The Brand Extension could be one of the best things for the WWE’s business right now, but if they once again fail to keep their talent on their respective brands it can get real ugly real quick. The first RAW after the WWE Draft on SmackDown didn’t show much promise that the WWE would be sticking to their guns, as SmackDown’s Randy Orton would invade RAW to deliver RAW’s Brock Lesnar with an RKO out of nowhere.

That was then followed up with Lesnar retaliating by invading SmackDown Live and returning the favor to Orton with an F5. Since then the WWE has done a good job of keeping it’s talent on they’re respective shows on TV, and now it looks like they will take the next step by keeping them off live events and dark matches as well.
