What's the story?
On this week's edition of Monday Night Raw, Triple H announced that Johnny Gargano, Aleister Black, Ricochet, and NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa will be making their main roster debuts. While Johnny Gargano competed in two tag team matches alongside Tommaso Ciampa, he has not yet had a singles match. That will change this week on SmackDown Live.
In case you didn't know...
Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa made their main roster debuts alongside each other when they reformed #DIY. They have had two tag team matches on both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live. #DIY were able to steal the show in both of their two tag team matches.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
The two were first able to defeat their old enemies and current Raw Tag Team Champions- The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) with their old tag team finishing move Meet in the Middle. Keen to gain some more momentum after their big victory over the Raw Tag Team Champions, the two would face off with The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) on SmackDown Live. #DIY would be able to pick up another huge upset victory when Tommaso Ciampa rolled up The Bar.
The heart of the matter
Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa will continue their rivalry with the former SmackDown Tag Team Champions on next week's episode of SmackDown Live. They will continue this rivalry when Johnny Gargano faces off with Cesaro in a dream match that you never knew you wanted. Both Tommaso Ciampa and Sheamus will be at ringside for this matchup. This will be Johnny Gargano's first time having a singles match on SmackDown Live, and if he does not have a match on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, it will be his first match on the main roster.
What's next?
With both Tommaso Ciampa and Sheamus ringside for this match, it is likely that there will be some fireworks in this matchup. Hopefully, the two will get a lot of time so that they are able to steal the show as we all know that they can.
