What's the story?
While The Undertaker's in-ring future may be uncertain, we've just learned from WWE.com that he will be making yet another appearance for the company. Fans will get a chance to meet and interact with The Dead Man at Ace Comic Con, in Uniondale, New York, on Friday, December 8th.
In case you didn't know...
The Undertaker is considered by many to be the greatest performer to have ever stepped into a WWE ring, thus far. Having established a legendary streak with 23 wins and only 1 loss in his celebrated and majestic WrestleMania legacy, he faced Roman Reigns in the main event of the "Showcase of the Immortals" this year.
The Undertaker took the pin and put over the younger man, in this contest. What made waves is what he did following the match, when he left his hat, his gloves and his trench coat in the middle of the ring. The Undertaker walked away from WrestleMania 33, seemingly retired.
The heart of the matter
Various theories emerged after the departure of the Dead Man, some suggesting that he was not done inside the squared circle. We still do not know whether or not his career between the ropes is over, but it is heartening to see that The Undertaker still cares about his fans and will give them a chance to meet and interact with the legend.
Bear in mind WWE fans, that tickets will have to be purchased for this event, and that attendance for the same will be limited. If you live in the area, or fancy a trip to New York, we recommend that you don't miss out.
What's next?
The Undertaker is also confirmed for a Wizard World appearance in Oklahoma, before this big day. It will be a single day affair.
Author's take
The mystique that made The Undertaker the legend that he is, still continues to this day. Fans in both Oklahoma and New York should make the most use of this massive opportunity, to interact with a man who transcends sports entertainment and is, simply put, a pop culture ico
