What’s the story?
WWE have released footage of Finn Balor and Seth Rollins rehabbing together following their injuries. The clip was revealed during the premiere of Finn Balor’s WWE 24 special which aired last night following Monday Night Raw.
In case you didn’t know...
Seth Rollins was the man who injured Finn Balor way back in August at SummerSlam, with Balor being put out of action until the Raw after WrestleMania 33. Rollins, on the other hand, rehabbed in the exact same facility as Balor for his own WWE 24 special.
He returned to Birmingham after re-injuring his knee during an attack at the hands of Samoa Joe.
The heart of the matter
The footage shows the two men laughing and joking, whilst also chatting about their misfortunes at the time. Balor spoke about how six months ago they never would’ve imagined that they’d be next to each other injured, as Rollins seemed to agree.
There’s no timestamp given, however, it’s likely that this was filmed in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania 33.
What’s next?
Next up on the WWE 24 schedule appears to be Kurt Angle and Goldberg, but no official release dates have been given for either of those broadcasts.
In terms of Balor and Rollins, both men are scheduled in to compete in a Fatal Five Way number one contender’s match at WWE Extreme Rules which will determine who faces Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.
Author’s Take
It’s great to see Finn and Seth laughing and joking together, especially through such hardships. Thankfully they’re both back doing what they do best, and we can only hope that they never have to go through such an ordeal again.
When it comes to the actual special on The Demon King, we highly recommend that you all go and watch it.
