WWE News: WWE star teases leaving America & going home

Last week, there was much speculation about the future of Rusev in WWE, with reports emerging that he had asked for his release from the company. While they seemed to be untrue, Rusev put up yet another message on Twitter, that has sent shock waves in the WWE Universe, teasing his departure from America.

This came shortly after Rusev was booked in the main event match of SmackDown Live, teaming up with WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal to take on the team of Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura. The heels lost the match following a Kinshasa from Shinsuke Nakamura.

Our take on the matter is that this is all a work, and Rusev is trolling his fans. He could be leaving America for whatever reason, but not necessarily leaving the company.

Rusev is very active on social media and never misses an opportunity to cause a stir among his fans. In many ways, all of us at Sportskeeda Wrestling love him for it.

Fans did not take the bait and retorted with witticisms of their own, roasting Rusev in the process. Nice try, Rusev, but we are not falling for this one, really.

The man teased a future conflict with Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship and we can certainly get behind him on that one. We look forward to many years of entertainment from Rusev, at the helm of WWE.
