What's the story?
WWE Superstar Mojo Rawley recently debuted his new look on WWE Main Event.
The repackaged Rawley defeated Heath Slater after connecting an Alabama Slam.
In case you didn't know...
Mojo Rawley debuted in WWE NXT back in 2013, when he competed in a battle royal that was won by Bo Dallas. His character was of a guy who always stayed hyped and was ready for action, no matter the circumstances.

Rawley debuted on the main roster as a supplemental draft pick in the Superstar Shakeup in 2016. The next year, he won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the kick-off show of WrestleMania 33. This was supposed to kick-start a push for him, but it didn't go anywhere, and Rawley was soon relegated to the mid-card.
The heart of the matter
Since the past several weeks, WWE was airing vignettes, hyping up the return of Mojo Rawley, in a completely different avatar, with a drastic change in his demeanor. The promos showed him talking to his reflection in a mirror, and boasting an incredible intensity that signified that he would be returning as a heel.
Mojo Rawley has finally made his return to the ring, though it happened without much fanfare, on WWE Main Event. Rawley now sports a completely different look, that includes new entrance music, gear, and a sleeveless hoodie.
He made quick work of Heath Slater and finished of the former SmackDown Live tag-team champion with a thunderous Alabama Slam.
What's next?
Rawley showed promise when he won the battle royal at WrestleMania 33, but the push didn't go anywhere. Hopefully, this new gimmick helps him become a mainstay on the main roster and he goes on to become a believable heel.
