Team Chad Gable:
Benjamin’s current tag team partner Chad Gable decided to pick the legendary Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott) as his first two picks. Gable said that he has picked up the Steiners’ in-ring style and has modelled himself after them.
Gable decided to stick with the tag team theme for the rest of his dream team, as he picked the duo of Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers, collectively known as The Fantastics.
Team Matt Hardy:
Matt Hardy shaped up his team by picking three former World Champions and WWE Hall of Famers; Bret “The Hitman” Hart, followed up by Hart’s biggest rival and former D-Generation X member Shawn Michaels, and Macho Man Randy Savage who was the third pick for the former Raw Tag Team Champion. As for his final pick, Matt chose his brother Jeff Hardy.
Hardy would then go on to name his team as “The Workhorses” due to their big achievements throughout their wrestling careers.
Team Baron Corbin:
Baron Corbin may be known as “The Lone Wolf” but for his dream Survivor Series team, Corbin chose some of the toughest wrestlers to ever step foot into the wrestling business.
For his team, Corbin chose Bam Bam Bigelow, Big Boss Man, NWO originator Scott Hall aka Razor Ramon, and the legendary Undertaker. The United States Champion also added by saying all five of them could ride bikes to the ring and labelled his team as “badass”.
Team Jason Jordan:
Jason Jordan picked four of his childhood idols for his Survivor Series dream team. Jordan’s team started off with his all-time favourite The Ultimate Warrior, followed by former Intercontinental Champion Mr Perfect, and Scott Steiner— who he thinks should bring Rick Steiner along with him for moral support. Jordan’s final team pick was his on-screen father Kurt Angle, who he believes will solidify his team for the win.
What’ next?
However, despite picking their dream teams, some of these superstars will now have to gear up and get ready for this Sunday’s Survivor Series which take place at the Toyota Center in Houston.
Author’s take
I think some of these teams are perfectly lined up and there is also a strong possibility for some of these superstars to actually team up with each other. Personally, I would like to see Finn Balor’s unit come true in real life which will also bring along a possible Bullet Club reunion in the WWE.
