WWE star Eric Arndt, who goes by the name Enzo Amore in the franchise, could be in for a slight tweak in his stage name after it emerged that the company filed an application to shorten his name to just Enzo – reports wrestlinginc.com.
However, it must be noted that Arndt isn’t the only star to see his name rejigged by WWE, with colleague Colin Cassady going by the stage name Big Cass since his call up to the main roster.
Despite his name in for a culling, Arndt’s accomplishments are no small matter.

The 29-year-old joined WWE’s development brand NXT back in 2012 with no prior wrestling experience, with the sport being a major passion as he was a huge fan of professional wrestling.
Arndt’s passion resulted in him making a video of him cutting a promo, which was shown to Triple H by Joe DeFranco – who trained Arndt as a teenager. An impressed Triple H arranged a tryout for Arndt, who soon earned a WWE contract.
The wrestler’s time in NXT resulted in one NXT Year End award as well as the Tag Team of the Year award, which he shared with partner Colin Cassady.
