You know WWE writers are clueless about a feud when they end a PPV title match in a DQ and the same applies to ADR vs RVD match. Del Rio is one of the most uninteresting champions on the roster right now and taking the title off him was a necessity. Yet we saw WWE doing the same thing they did with Christian and instead gave RVD a meaningless victory.

Taking the title off Del Rio could have given him an opportunity to rebuild his character to being less boring. It has become difficult to see Del Rio as the champion on screen and giving the title to RVD could have brought about some freshness to the title scenario.
