What’s the story?

As confirmed by Wrestlecon’s official Twitter handle earlier today, New Japan Pro Wrestling superstar and member of the Bullet Club Kenny Omega is confirmed to appear on this year’s Wrestlecon along with few other WWE legends and veterans.

In case you didn’t know…

Wrestlecon in a Pro Wrestling event and convention that usually takes place every year during WWE’s Wrestlemania weekend. During the convention, wrestling fans from all around the world get a chance to interact and meet and greet with some of the biggest legends of the Pro Wrestling business.

The heart of the matter

Earlier today, Wrestlecon confirmed on their Twitter handle that former leader of the Bullet Club and former IWGP US Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega is all set to arrive at this year’s Wrestlecon Supershow and will take part in a photo and autographs session with the fans during the Wrestlecon convention.

Additionally, it was also confirmed that by Wrestlecon that Omega will also be in action at this year’s Wrestlecon Supershow, which takes place on this year’s Valentine’s Day.

As of this writing, several WWE legends and veterans of the Pro Wrestling business will also be joining “The Cleaner” at the Wrestlcon 2018 convention, the following names have all been confirmed for the this year’s Wrestlecon convention so far: Shawn Michaels, Sting, Ric Flair, Trish Stratus, Lita, Tommy Dreamer, Lisa Marie Varon, The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, Ric Flair, JJ Dillon, Bill Apter, Simon Grimm, CW Anderson, Short Sleeve Sampson, DDP, Bret Hart, Sid Vicious, Mick Foley, Ted DiBiase, Brutus Beefcake, The Steiner Brothers, Demolition, Road Warrior Animal, Melina, Jackie Moore, Bob Orton, Jr., Bob Holly, John Cena, Sr, Teddy Long, Marty “Boogeyman” Wright, Ron Simmons and more.

Thursday 4/5 – 6 PM to 8:30 PM – Wildkat Entertainment

Thursday 4/5 – 9:30 PM – WrestleCon Supershow

What’s next?

As noted, the Wrestlecon convention will take place in New Orleans during WM 34 weekend, however, as of right now, Kenny Omega’s opponent for this year’s Supershow hasn’t been announced.

Author’s Take

Kenny Omega’s addition to the Wrestlecon Supershow will certainly be a major boost in ratings for the event and definitely adds a lot of star power to the show.
