Jax finally made her debut

A power packed debutThe night where everything new that could possibly happen, thankfully happened. Nia Jax debuted, Bayley and Finn Balor got new opponents to face and their new opponents find themselves currently, in the biggest feuds of their careers so far in NXT.Also, Breeze found his latest obstacle. This was an NXT episode which was confident to move on and have a renaissance since the departure of Owens, Banks, Charlotte and Lynch. This was an episode that showed how there can countless exciting possibilities to unravel. Here are the 4 points to note from this week’s episode of one of the best things to happen in pro- wrestling; NXT-

#5 The debut

Jax finally made her debut

After weeks of video packages, Nia Jax finally debuted on NXT. Her match wasn’t against an established talent and this match was all about building Jax into something of a big deal and that aim was pretty much achieved.

She’s intimidating to look at and definitely boasts of some tremendous strength. In short, this was yet another debut which has a lot of promise and it shows how great the women’s division in NXT is and is continuing to be.

With Asuka and Nia Jax arriving at NXT, it looks like Bayley’s title will soon have a lot of great contenders.

#4 The other debut

Evie sold the heck out of the bear hug

What was hyped was a Nia Jax debut but we got another debut against hers.

Evie was her opponent who faced Jax in her own very first match in the WWE. Sure, she had to sell every little move that Jax was executing. But those kicks did show a lot of promise. Sure, she was the jobber tonight but it can’t be ruled out that we can see her again someday.

Chances are that she hasn’t signed any contract but she’s under the radar and for all that she did in this episode, even if it was a few minutes long, it’s ought to get her to fight soon again in NXT.

#3 The new contender

Bliss is the newest challenger to Bayley’s title

The night began with Bayley walking out to seemingly follow upon her impressive main event match at Takeover: Respect against Sasha Banks.

But all of that was crashed by Alexa Bliss and her boys. Bliss has had a breakthrough year ever since she turned heel and became the leader of the team she manages. Blake and Murphy stood between Bliss and Bayley as the former’s bodyguards.

She is clearly the newest contender to Bayley’s crown and this is the biggest opportunity for the young Bliss as she clearly deserves some more spotlight for her impressive heel work so far.

#2 Another new contender

Apollo Crews’ stock at NXT just skyrocketed

The main event of the night featured a Battle Royal to determine the new number one contender for the NXT Championship that Finn Balor so gloriously holds.

It would have been a no shocker if Samoa Joe had won it but instead of going for the obvious, Creative had Apollo Crews win it. This is a huge opportunity for the rookie. And we all know that he won’t really win the championship but it still speaks a lot as to how much the management is willing to give him a chance and get him over. This may also inch towards making Balor look like a heel, a role that many fans now want him to play.

#1 New feud

Breeze’s next feud looks to be set against Samoa Joe

The Battle Royal also brought forth an interesting dynamic. Samoa Joe and Tyler Breeze had quite a noticeable interaction.

Well, Breeze was eliminated by Joe and that led Breeze to cheat and unfairly pull Joe out to eliminate him. That certainly means a new feud with both parties involved. The thing about this is that it seems that Breeze is set to lose another match. But if Samoa Joe is in NXT to be a lifer then this feud might be a way to put Breeze over since he’s already been wrestling a few WWE house shows.

Only time will tell as to what has Triple H planned for 'Prince Pretty'.
