WWE NXT 16th September 2015 - 5 points to note

Adam Rose still has an underwhelming gimmick.

The Boss gets her rematchThis show was all about one thing and one thing only that made it worth watching again and again and again. There was no Finn Balor, no Samoa Joe, no MVP Kevin Owens. Two women made this mostly underwhelming show quite special. It happened just a few minutes before the show was supposed to go off- air. Sasha Banks confronted Bayley and that led to a historical announcement that has been doing quite the rounds this past week. This is how NXT wins at wrestling. This week the best moments have been happening the women's division be it Nikki Bella’s record-breaking reign and the match that took place at Raw between her and Charlotte or the main event of NXT, this has been memorable. Here are the 5 points to note from this week's show-

#5 Poop

Adam Rose still has an underwhelming gimmick.

Adam Rose came out tonight to the Full Sail Arena where he’s always a welcome addition dressed very unlike his previous party animal character. He had glasses on and a new gear which signalled a new gimmick.

He kept on saying ‘poop’ again and again. The audience kept chanting ‘Leo Kruger’ at him, which was till date his best gimmick.

But, alas, Rose has been given another forgettable gimmick this time around, it seems.

#4 Bull- Fit

Bull got some momentum this week

Bull Dempsey in one of those characters who’ve had next to no momentum as far as character development goes.

But the crowd still likes him and facing Tyler Breeze who’se already an established star out there in NXT, it seems Dempsey is getting more of an opportunity to showcase what’s so entertaining about him. Him immitating Breeze or walking to the ring and simply stating the fact that he’s going beat him up or the brief exchange they had when Breeze was describing the word ‘accident’ to Bull were nice enough moments.

#3 The perfect 10

Tye Dillinger- A heel or a face?

Tye Dillinger had a forgettable match, but his gimmick seems to be something that will go on to become successful.

He seems to be enjoying it and that’s half the battle won. He was really good in this match but the only thing that may be keeping him back is that fact that he’s clearly a heel and the audience, instead of booing at the guy, is cheering profusely for him. That means they’re enjoying the gimmick, but that is just the opposite of the desired reaction that a heel ought to get.

#2 Apollo Crews Vs Solomon Crowe.

Apollo Crews-New Superstar in town

Crews beat Solomon Crowe this week and continued his momentum since debuting in NXT. He’s certainly an impressive performer and he won against an opponent, despite his immense dedication to his role, is still trying to catch a break with some gimmick.

Solomon Crowe, though, was impressive this week even if he took another loss. This may or may not be a one-off feud.

#1 IronWoman

Already excited for banks Vs Bayley II

The best part of this show was not only the fact that Bayley fought in the main event but the confrontation that followed after the match between her and the former NXT Women's Champion. Banks was fierce in her promo stating that Bayley was just ‘better than her for 3 seconds’ at Brooklyn.

Bayley was ever so ready to give her a rematch but Banks wanted to beat Bayley not just for the championship but ‘again and again and again’ just for the sake of being known as the greatest female wrestler in the company.

Out came Regal and announced that not only will Banks and Bayley main event at the next Takeover but they will fight in a 30 minute Ironman Match. Well, Regal may have had a slip and called it the Iron’Man’ match but the Full Sail Arena kept on chanting ‘Ironwoman’ till the lights faded and Banks and Bayley shook hands.
