#1 Best: Bron Breakker remains the face of NXT 2.0 despite losing at Halloween Havoc

NXT 2.0 delivered a major surprise to end Halloween Havoc, as Bron Breakker did not become Champion. The second-generation star came close to dethroning Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Championship but was ultimately felled by the veteran.

Breakker looked good in defeat and was even busted open, following a DDT on the exposed concrete. He still seems on course to win the title from Ciampa, who lives to fight another day.

The Blackheart retaining may have been the best move, giving the explosive youngster more time to further develop as a performer on NXT 2.0. Bron Breakker's time will come. It didn't at Halloween Havoc but it will, soon enough.

#1 Worst: What was the point of the lumberjacks?

The NXT Tag Team Championship match between MSK and Imperium was great, particularly when the action picked up towards the end. It was initially a Lumberjack Match, as determined by the Halloween Havoc wheel.

While not outrightly offensive, this stipulation was unnecessary and took a little away from the excellent in-ring talent on offer. The finish saw Imperium oust MSK and become the Tag Team Champions of NXT 2.0, with no lumberjack in sight.
