NXT 2.0 Results: Big swerve sees new Champion crowned; Gonzalez raises the stakes for Halloween Havoc

Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott (c) vs. Santos Escobar - North American Title match on NXT 2.0 (contd...)

The match continued on NXT 2.0 and Escobar dropped Scott on the apron before sending him over the announcer's desk with a huge dive to the outside. Back after a break, Scott got a big clothesline and turned Escobar upside down.

Escobar got a near fall off a counter before setting Scott up on the middle rope for a hurricanrana. Santos got the splash in for a near fall as the match went on before Escobar got on the ropes. But Scott dropped him on the ropes and then on the apron.

Scott hit his top rope finish but Escobar got his knees up. Legado del Fantasma interfered but Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes came in and took them out. Swerve sent Escober onto the turnbuckles before hitting his finisher for the win.

Result: Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott def. Santos Escobar to retain the North American Title

After the match, Carmelo and Trick were celebrating with the champ but Melo took him out with a clothesline. Melo cashed in on his match contract on Swerve before we headed for the title match.

Melo hit a huge springboard move but Scott managed to kicked out of it. Carmello took a big shot from the champ but managed to hit the leg drop from the top rope for the win!

Result: Carmelo Hayes def. Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott to become the new North American Champion!
